So very many of you have asked me if I would do a #RachWear post on how to wear a maxi skirt or tea-length skirt. Well sisters, here you go! I found this skirt a few weeks ago and I’ve been wearing it everywhere. For one thing, polka dots are adorable. For another, it has pockets and I would basically wear a potato sack around my waist if it came with roomy pouches for holding my phone or my lipgloss. As to how to wear it, scroll on down to see my favorite styles. See something you like? Click on the highlighted word to get the details.
This spring skirt style is super easy to pull off. Pair your favorite t-shirt with your skirt. Add in a thin belt for a pop of color and finish the whole look off with a great pair of peep toe booties.

I so dig all the bright bits of color and and shape here. Since I wear this skirt high in the waist it’s easy to match it up with a crop top (similar). Add in the sassiest pair of yellow sandals ever and you’re ready to go.
This is such a fun way to wear a spring skirt for church. Tuck in a button down blouse and top it with your favorite statement necklace. I added those spring booties because they tend to work with everything.
The best part about this spring skirt? It’s going to transition beautifully into summer. Grab a great tank (similar), and some darling wedges then pair them both with a dangling necklace and a fun clutch. Brunch with your girlfriends never looked so good!
For those of you who don’t want to tuck your top into your spring skirt, consider this idea. Layer a fitted sweater over the top of the skirt and accessorize with a lightweight scarf. The nude pumps? They’re a wardrobe essential!
