2. Greek Yogurt Chicken Salad

Mayonnaise makes a chicken salad creamy and delicious, however it also adds a ton of fat.  Why not swap in Greek yogurt?  Brandon of The Yummy Bits  has this tasty looking chicken salad with greek yogurt.  Substituting yogurt instead of mayo not only decreases calories but it also increases protein content!

3. Kale Chips

I have a salty snack addiction.  Don’t ever leave me with a bag of potato chips.  Next time I have a snack craving I’m making a batch of these crispy kale chips.  Kale is low in calories and full of vitamins and antioxidants.  It’s a staple at The Chic office!

9.  Quinoa Bowl

Quinoa (pronounced “keen-wah“) is a great rice alternative.  Often dubbed a superfood, it is a good source of protein, dietary fiber and calcium.  It’s gluten-free and easy to digest.  I’m really loving this chicken and quinoa bowl with veggies by Ingrid of The Cozy Apron.  This looks a lot healthier than my usual teriyaki chicken rice bowl lunches.
