DIY Skin Brightening Face Scrub

diy face scrub

What do you get when you mix strawberries, salt and lime? Clean, bright skin.

This DIY skin brightening face scrub is chock-full of Vitamin C, antioxidants and natural exfoliators to soften and brighten your skin. The strawberries help improve skin tone and gently cleanse while the salt exfoliates and the almond oil hydrates. Try this scrub if you are in need of a little pick me up. I love the subtle strawberry scent it leaves long after you’ve washed it off!  ~Brandee

What if I wanted to make a jar full. How do I keep it longer, like over a time period of a month?

      Hi Jacilyn,

I’ve never kept mine that long but if you stored it in the fridge and don’t touch the scrub with your fingertips (only a clean spoon to scoop some out) then you should be ok. If you try it out, let me know how it turns out. ~Rachel

      Hi Eumna,
With any of your DIY Beauty items you can always substitute and element for something you feel more comfortable with. Almond oil is supposed to be good for oily skin because it actually combats the natural oils your own skin makes… but with anything, just make sure it works for you since all skin is different. ~Rachel
