The biggest game of the year is upon us!  Are you rooting for the Broncos?  Or are you a Seahawks fan?  Whether or not you even like football, everyone tunes in to watch the Super Bowl.  From the halftime show to the over-the-top commercials, there something for everyone to enjoy.  Regardless of what you are looking forward to, you’re going to need food.  Here are my top 10 snacks and appetizers that will surely be a touchdown at your Super Bowl party! (Sorry, I just had to include a little football humor.)

Baked-Sweet-Potato-Chips-with-Blue-Cheese-Sauce-and-Bacon-7

Let’s kickoff this party with something sweet, salty, smokey, and creamy.  What else could you ask for?  This looks like perfection to me.  I’m loving these baked sweet potato chips with blue cheese sauce, bacon, and green onion by Nicole of Cooking for Keeps

IMG_7559smallI love serving soups at parties because guests can customize their bowls to their liking.  Tortilla soup is one of my favorites!  I like the crunch from the tortilla chips, the pop of freshness from the lime juice, and the unlimited toppings to choose from!  This tortilla soup by Katie of Serenity in the Storm looks like a winner.

cheesy-jalapeno-bacon-dip-with-tater-tot-crust-1200x795Dips are a party requirement.  It’s one of the easiest things to serve.  Just place it on the table, and guests will happily help themselves.  My mouth is watering just thinking about this cheesy jalapeño bacon dip with tater tot crust by Des of Life’s Ambrosia.

7-layer-dip-individual-28I love 7-layer dips but I hate people that double-dip!  Serving individual portions is a chic way to keep the dip clean, fresh, and germ-free!  How cute are these individual seven layer dip cups by Kirbie of Kirbie’s Cravings?  Too cute!

What’s a Super Bowl party without chicken wings?!  These baked honey Sriracha chicken wings by Georgia of The Comfort Cooking are a lighter alternative to the usual deep fried wings.  It is sweet, spicy, and savory!  This is a high-scoring combo!
Crockpot-Chicken-Chili-Con-Carne-Nacho-Stacks-1These crockpot chicken chili con carne loaded tostada stacks are a showstopper at any buffet table.  Tieghan of Half Baked Harvest is one of my favorite food bloggers.  Be sure to check out her site for more delicious inspirations.

SONY DSCIn keeping with individual portions, these loaded mashed potato cups by Shawn of I Wash, You Dry are the perfect little finger foods.  It’s impossible to fumble with something this delicious.

nacho_burger_sliders_1Why serve separate nachos and burgers when you can combine them?  Make it easier on yourself and serve them together.  Bobby of Blog Chef has the right idea with these nacho burger sliders!

Slow-Cooker-Pulled-Pork-Sandwiches1-1024x1024Once again the slow cook comes to save the day!  Barbecue is always a hit, but it may be too cold where you are to bbq outdoors.  Give your oven a rest and let your slow cooker do the work.  Try these slow cooker pulled pork sandwiches by Brandon of Kitchen Konfidence.  They look absolutely divine.
